Dr. Jennifer Schissler was born in Westminster Colorado and became interested in veterinary medicine at an early age. She attended Colorado State University for veterinary school, graduating in 2005. From there she completed a one year internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Dr. Schissler has completed a 3 year residency in dermatology and a Master of Science degree at The Ohio State University in 2009 and is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology.  

Her professional interests include antimicrobial resistance, management of atopic dermatitis, video otoscopy and client education. Dr. Schissler also enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband Aaron.  Her pets include “Tibbens” Schissler, a 4 year old longhair cat and “Cupcake” Pendergraft, a Chihuahua puppy.
