The Diagnostic Imaging service at Louisville Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Services utilizes the most advanced tools available to help diagnose your pets' medical issues. LVSES has incorporated digital radiology & fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), MRI & ultrasound into our diagnostic imaging capabilities. Enhanced accuracy and improved diagnosis lead to more effective and immediate treatment for your pet while giving our doctors, along with your primary care veterinarian, the chance to share patient information in a much more time-efficient manner.

All diagnostic studies are reviewed by a radiologist and a full written report is provided for your pet’s file and sent to your veterinarian for review. If your pet presents a challenging medical case and your veterinarian advises you that advanced imaging procedures are needed, the specialists at LVSES will make sure your pet receives the best imaging study to confirm the diagnosis.

LVSES is also proud to announce the launch of our Outpatient Imaging Service.  This service was created to provide referring veterinarians a fast and efficient means to get a specific advanced imaging diagnostic performed on their patients without the need to arrange a consultation with the internal medicine or surgery service.  Learn More.
