Endoscopy (scope of the stomach and small intestine) and other scoping procedures are offered by LVSES on an emergency or appointment basis. Other scoping procedures include bronchoscopy (scope of the trachea and lungs), rhinoscopy (scope of the nose), cystoscopy (scope of the urethra and bladder) and colonoscopy (scope of colon). LVSES has recently acquired video endoscopy which has superior imaging compared to the fiber optic technology.
