Emergency and Critical Care

LVSES offers the most current philosophy and practice of emergency and critical care medicine dictated and monitored by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC) and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS) and, most importantly, demanded by the pet owning population of our area! No other veterinary emergency practice in the region has a board certified emergency and critical care veterinarian (Dr. Tom Day) directing treatment of patients by training doctors and staff as LVSES. The dog to the left is being treated for brain injury secondary to a severe seizure disorder.

Not only does LVSES offer 24 hour emergency care, we offer intense monitoring of the critically ill and injured patient with the most current and recommended treatments available. The dog to the right suffered from severe diabetes. She was successfully managed by the doctors and staff at LVSES and went home to live a normal life!

LVSES offers treatment to patients that have suffered severe trauma. The cat to the left was unfortunately hit by a car and presented to LVSES in severe shock. The doctors and staff at LVSES have the ability to recognize the differences between dogs and cats in shock and are able to treat these animals in the most appropriate manner.
